Sax is a small and typically spanish town just 25 minutes inland from the hustle and bustle of the city and ever polular beach resort of Alicante. Every Saturday the town hosts a market. For golf lovers there is the Alendas Golf course in the town of Novelda, just a 15 minute drive away. Those of are familiar with spain will know that Alicante has a major boat port, and is home to many gorgeous yahts and a large airport that you can fly into from all over the world. There are also many low cost airlines with very reasonable prices from the UK for those all year round trips!
Sax is a town which is steep in history! The town is also home to an ancient castle dating back to 1239, which sits grandly on the top of a mountain overlooking the whole town. Easy access to other major spanish cities such as Madrid which is easily accessible from Sax as the high speed trains stop at Sax mainline RENFE station.
As regards to our apartment. This is located in a peaceful street on the outskirts of the town with shops, supermarkets and bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Entrance is via a communal door for the six flats that are over three levels. There is anentry phone system for added security and peace of mind. You pass the stairs which are on your right and the entrance to our apartment is on the left hand side.
Entry to the flat is via a band new security door, with double lock and hinge bolts.
Upon entering, the lounge area is on the left and the kitchen on the right. This total area is approx 8.5m x 3.7m or 27.9 x 12.1 if you prefer feet and inches. There are centre lights and wall lights to give the option of subtle or bright lighting.
The kitchen has a range of high gloss white units with black granite worktop and splashback. It comes complete with hob, extractor oven and washing machine. A window over the sink and overlooks the patio. On the floor in the kichen area is a beige anti-slip tile, which keeps this area separate.
The rest of the apartments flooring is a top quality porcelanica porcelain tile. There are also contrasting borders to compliment. The lounge has a window which looks to the front of the property. All of the windows are new and complete with "persiana" blinds. There are also black wrought iron grills to protect all of the front of the apartment, so that windows can be left open without having to worry about security.
A small hallway leads onto the smaller of the bedrooms on your left hand side which is 3.2m x 2.2mor 9.8 x 8.9 feet. The window faces the front.
Next is a double bedroom, which also faces the front and measures 4.10m x 3.3m or 13.5 x 10.8 feet.
Alongside the double bedroom is another double bedroom which faces the back of the apartmentand the window looks out to the patio.
At the end of the hallway is the bathroom. There is a small window facing the rear with obscure glass. The bathroom has double sinks on the left hand side set in marbel with a large mirror set above and into the wall. The toilet is in the corner at the back on the left hand side. On the right hand side is a corner bath with shower and a large fitted mirror over the top.
Next to the bath is a cupboard and next to that and opposite the sinks is a separate marbel shower enclosure.
Going back to the kitchen on the right hand side is another room, which would be ideal as a dining room. From this room, which measures 3m x 2.7m or 9.8 x 8.9 is access to the patio.
Outside is an ample tiled patio area covering a space of 7.3m x 2.8m or 23.9 x 9.2. feet.
This area would be great for a hot tub, sun loungers and barbeque! The walls have also been decorated to finish things off with "monocapa", a material that the spanish put onto the front exterior of new buildings.
This entire apartment has been completely refurbished to a high standard, with new plumbing and electrics.
